Complaints in the Neighborhood
As anyone who attended the December General Meeting can tell you, there was one topic that was really hot - boats, trailers, and vehicles on the county roads that are never moved. The complaints ranged from being dangerous for through traffic, being an eye sore, and more recently, interfering with snow removal.
This topic was discussed even further at our last board meeting and the LFCA Board of Directors has decided to take the following action. For those that receive the most complaints, the owners will be sent a form letter asking them to remove the offending item from the county roadway within a two-week period. At the end of that time, if the item has not been removed, the Board will ask Fairfax County Police to take action.
Homeowners can avoid these problems by parking their equipment in their own driveway or garage.
