Board Meeting

13 January 2005

Members present: Bill Ethington, Beverly Franklin, Harry Hopkins, Dave Wilson, Jim Evans, Evelyn Hempstead, and Gloria Flick.

The draft minutes from December ’04 were reviewed and accepted.

Harry updated the Community Web site with significant dates of community events, as discussed at last month’s meeting.

Evelyn reported that one of the accent decorations on the entrance sign on Maritime Lane is severely deteriorated. Bev asked that it be repaired rather than replaced in order to save costs. The Board concurred.

There was general discussion on a draft charter for the Architectural Review Committee. Passages of the community covenants were referred to and will be implemented into the next version of the draft charter. Harry will revise the draft charter for another review at next month’s meeting.

Gloria volunteered to be the Board’s yard sale coordinator. She would like to coordinate the Community’s spring yard sale for starters.

Meeting adjourned at 8:10 pm. Next meeting will be at Bev’s on 10 Feb at 7:30 pm.

Next month, we will discuss dates for the next yard sale and Community Day – both events to be held during April or May. And we will continue to discuss the charter for the ARC.
